What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

  • Brakes
  • Oil changes
  • Tyres
  • Exhausts
  • General cleanliness and maintenance of workshop

Any duties as required by your supervisor/manager
Full servicing of vehicles

  • Assisting mechanics with all tasks on Motor Vehicle Repair & Service
  • Diagnostics

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Competence
  • Functional skills in maths, English and ICT (if required)
  • 20% off the job training

Qualification
Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation.
