At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.
We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone determined, someone like you.
As the sector-leading charity retailer, and following a review of our operational stock management, fulfilment, and distribution we are entering an exciting new core infrastructural change with the introduction of Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) to our portfolio of shops and superstores. In Team Trading, we’re ambitious and ready for growth. These changes will ultimately drive forward our profitability as the sector-leading charity retailer and improve our contribution towards our mission of beating cancer.
Our RDCs will provide an opportunity for us to process, store and distribute stock across our network, while also providing an extension to our Marketplace and e-commerce activity.
Part of this change will include the introduction of a new centralised driver management team to provide specialist support for our drivers and deliver investment in new fleet management software.
We are looking for two experienced Transport Supervisors to assist with the day to day running of Cancer Research UK’s busy retail driver team. This will involve supporting the delivery of a high standard of service to our shops, superstores, warehouses, supporters, and corporate partners.
